Here are a few ways you can use your remote to control a variety of audio and video products.

Using the Bose® remote to watch TV

  • Press the TV On-Off button to turn on your TV. The green LED on the front of the interface module will light up
  • Press the TV source button. The button will flash to indicate that the remote control is in TV mode
  • Use the remote to select a channel and navigate menus. In addition to controlling TV functions, the remote will control the basic CineMate® speaker functions, such as turning on the speaker system, changing the volume and muting or turning off the speaker system

Selecting the TV input

On the remote, press TV∙Video to select the correct TV input for the source you want to watch. Some suggested input names on the back of your TV: AV1, AV2, Video 1, Video 2, HDMI 1, Component 1 and Aux. If you have multiple inputs connected to your TV, you may need to press this button several times to find the correct input. For more information on how your TV inputs work, see the TV owner's guide for additional help.
