Setting the sleep timer
The sleep timer allows your system to turn off automatically after a selectable period of time passes. Find out how to turn the sleep timer on or off and, when enabled, how to adjust the amount of time until your system powers off.
To set the Sleep Timer:
Tip: When the Sleep Timer is enabled, a Sleep icon appears in the lower-left of the system display.
- Turn on your system
- Press the Sleep/Snooze button so 75 minutes (or the last setting) appears on the display
- Press the Sleep/Snooze button repeatedly to select a time (75, 60, 45, 30, 15, 10, 5, or 0 minutes)
- Wait 10 seconds for the menu to close.
