Speaker placement and positioning

Placing the Jewel Cube speakers

1. Place the Jewel Cube speakers on a stable, level surface: one to your left and one to your right.
2. Leave about 6–12' (1.8–3.6 m) between the speakers and avoid placing a speaker for than 20' (6.1 m) from the bass module
3. Keep the speakers at about ear-level from the listening area
4. Position both speakers at the front edge of its shelf or surface
5. On both Jewel Cube speaker stacks, aim one of the two speakers at the listening area and angle the other at a side wall

Placing the Acoustimass bass module

1. Place the Acoustimass module on the floor at the same end of the room as the speakers:
2. Stand the bass module upright (BEST) or on its side (ALTERNATE)
3. Point the sound port on the front of the bass module toward the listening area
4. For older CRT TVs, keep the bass module at least 18" (0.5 m) from the TV
