Assigning the optical digital audio input
The optical input on your Bose system can be linked to a certain source (i.e. CBL/SAT or AUX) so that pressing the corresponding source button on your remote plays the expected audio. This is useful for connecting digital audio from a device with a digital optical audio output.
To assign the optical audio input:
- On the remote control, press the System button
Tip: If the system menu does not appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected - Scroll right to select Media Center
- Scroll down to select Optical Source
- Press the Right arrow button to select the optical source options
- Scroll up or down to select the button on your remote that will choose optical audio.
