Pairing the remote control to your system

If you are setting up your remote control for the first time—or if you received a new remote—find out how to link it to your system console so it can operate your system.

Be sure the soundbar is connected to same network as the device running the Bose Music App.

The soundbar must be on the same network so it can receive commands from the app to configure the remote. If the soundbar cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network, use an Ethernet cable to connect the soundbar to the router (or access point) so it can be found by the device running the Bose Music app.
