Opening and closing the iPod dock
The iPod swivel dock uses a "press and release" latch to open and close the dock. We'll give you more detailed instructions on the proper way to open and close the dock.
Opening the iPod dock:
To open the iPod dock, press and release the right side of the dock door: The dock automatically swings outward to the left. (Note: Pressing the left side of the door is not recommended to release it since this puts more force on the door.)
Closing the iPod dock.
To close the dock, pull the left side of the dock tray out and to the right until it closes and latches.
Note: The dock should be closed prior to transportation.
