Updating the software or firmware of your product

Software and firmware updates improve product features and stability. Install any available updates to keep your product working at its best.

To update your product:

Update your system

Updates typically complete within 10 minutes. During this time, various messages might appear on the system display. If the display is blank for more than 10 seconds, press the On/Off button on the remote.
  1. If an accessory disc changer or Bluetooth® adapter is connected, unplug it from to the Bose Link jack on the back of your system.
  2. On the remote control, press the CD button.
  3. Insert the update disc into your system to begin the update.
    Tip: If the display does not show it is updating, press the Play button on the remote.
  4. When the display shows the update is complete, eject the disc.
  5. If you disconnected an accessory in step 1, reconnect it.

Check the firmware version of your product.
