Changing audio sources

Your product has an audio input to accomodate the connection of another device. Learn how to switch inputs on your product to hear the different sound sources you have connected.

To select a connected analog device, hold the Blue button on the remote.

The ability to manually select the analog input is only available on systems with updated software. This feature was intended to integrate the accessory Bose Bluetooth® audio adapter. If these instructions do not work, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.

Note: Your system auto-selects connected devices in this order: optical, digital coax, analog. For example, if a coax and optical source are both connected and on, optical will be heard). Some devices always send signal from their digital output despite their volume level or power state, which can prevent your system from auto-switching to the analog input since it sees the digital source as active. In these cases, you can manually switch.

To manually switch to the analog input:

Note: For Solo 10 systems, the RC-PWSII universal remote is required.
  1. On the remote control, press and hold the Blue button
  2. To switch off of the analog input and return to normal operation, press and hold the Blue button again
