Setting Talk Radio mode
Talk Radio mode adjusts the system bass response by reducing low bass frequencies. This mode can be useful if talk radio programming is difficult to understand due to voices sounding boomy or muffled.
To turn on or off Talk Radio mode:
Note: With software versions 040401 and newer, Talk Radio mode is replaced with a bass reduction mode that affects all sounds from the system. For more info, see Adjusting the tone controls on your product and Checking the software or firmware version.
- Play an FM or AM radio station
- On the remote control, press the Play Mode button twice to turn Talk Radio mode on or off. The display shows TALK RADIO– ON or OFF to confirm.
Tip: Talk Radio mode automatically turns off when you switch to another audio source or station, or turn off your system.
