Turning the touch control on or off

The top of your system can act as a touch-sensitive power and alarm snooze control. This is useful to control basic functions without your remote. You can also disable it to prevent accidental control (i.e. pets walking over it).

To turn on or off the touch pad:

  1. On the remote control, press and hold Alarm Setup (Menu) until -SETUP MENU- appears on the system display
  2. Press Tune/MP3 > repeatedly until TOUCH PAD- appears
  3. Press Time – or Time + to select ON or OFF
  4. Press Alarm Setup (Menu) or wait 10 seconds to exit the menu
