Remote does not work

Applies to:

  • Lifestyle® V25 home entertainment system
  • Lifestyle® V35 home entertainment system
  • Lifestyle® 135 home entertainment system
  • Lifestyle® 235 home entertainment system

If your remote does not work:

Install new batteries in the remote. Make sure the batteries, including those recently installed, match the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries may not charge fully after extended use and some may have a lower voltage output

Perform a control console reset

Turn the control console off

On the control console, press and hold POWER  for five seconds. The red LED will turn off

Release the  POWER  button and retest the system

Reassociate the remote with the system. The media centre and remote must match for proper operation. For information on reassociating the system and remote, see Pairing the remote control with the console
