Setting Auto Select Audio Track for the DVD source

The Auto Select Audio Track setting allows you or the system to choose the audio track for the movie you're playing. Choosing On lets the system choose the 5.1 audio track, if available. Choosing Off lets you choose the track you want to hear from the movie menu.

To set the Auto Select Audio Track feature, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the TV is on with the correct input selected
  2. Turn the system on
  3. Switch to the CD/DVD source
  4. Press the Settings button on the remote
  5. Press the down arrow on the remote to highlight "System Setup"
  6. Press the Enter button on the remote
  7. Press the down arrow on the remote to highlight "DVD Setup"
  8. Press the Enter button on the remote
  9. Press the down arrow on the remote to highlight "Auto Select Audio Track"
  10. Press the right and left arrows on the remote to select either:
    1. "On" - Where applicable, system automatically plays 5.1 channel audio track when available on a DVD
    2. "Off" - Audio track must be selected manually
  11. Press the Settings button on the remote two times to exit the menu
Note: To play a DTS encoded DVD, this feature must be set to Off.
